Terms of Service

By accessing or using wcag-scan ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

wcag-scan provides automated WCAG 2.1 accessibility auditing for websites. Results are generated by automated tools and are intended to assist — not replace — professional accessibility review. We do not guarantee that a passing score indicates full legal compliance with any accessibility regulation.

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You may not share your account or subscription with others outside your permitted plan limits.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

• Paid plans are billed monthly in advance via Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date.
• You may cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting us.
• Please refer to our Refund Policy for details on refunds.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to scan websites you do not own or have explicit permission to audit.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits or security measures.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Resell or redistribute scan results as a competing service without our written consent.

The wcag-scan platform, branding, and software are owned by us. Scan reports generated for your websites belong to you. You grant us a limited licence to store and process your scan data in order to provide the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that scan results are complete, accurate, or that they will satisfy any legal accessibility requirement. Automated tools cannot detect all accessibility issues.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, wcag-scan shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 90 days preceding the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Helsinki, Finland.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated by email.
